AY 2023-2024 Highlights

Student Engagement in Professional Organizations
Loyola students participated in several professional organizations by presenting, attending, and volunteering. In AY 2023-2024, the program was represented at the Midwest Association for Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring - (Chicagoland, April 2024), Chicago Chromatography Discussion Group - (Chicagoland, March 2024), and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences - (Denver, CO, February 2024).
Hands-on Training
Agilent provided on-site training to students and faculty on the GC-MS & LC-MS software MassHunter in March 2024.
United Chemical Technologies () provided on-site training to students on solid phase extraction in April 2024.
Lab Instrumentation Expanded
The program added an additional HPLC instrument in our drug chemistry & toxicology teaching lab.
Our largest graduating class to date!
Thirty one (31) students graduated from the Forensic Science Program this academic year. Congratulations Class of 2024!
