About

Harry J. Gensler was Professor of Philosophy at 草莓社区. His Michigan PhD featured a dissertation on the golden rule under William Frankena. He taught at Loyola from 1981 to 1996, and then returned full-time in 2014. He published seven books on logic, eight on ethics, and one on Catholic philosophy. He published many articles, and the LogiCola and EthiCola software for logic and ethics.

An avid outdoorsperson, Gensler hiked Georgia to Maine (Appalachian Trail) and Mexico to Canada (Pacific Crest Trail); but the Southwest canyons were his favorite. Bicycle trips included LA to NY, Chicago to Newfoundland, and around Lake Michigan by way of New Orleans.
