Professor Mezey's teaching and research interests include constitutional law, judicial process, judicial-legislative relations, administrative law, women and law and children's rights. Her articles have appeared in Journal of Politics, Western Political Quarterly, American Politics Quarterly, International and Comparative Law Quarterly, Rutgers Law Review, Publius, Women and Politics, and Policy Studies Journal. She is the author of No Longer Disabled: The Federal Courts and the Politics of Social Security Disability; In Pursuit of Equality: Women, Public Policy and the Federal Courts; Children in Court: Public Policymaking and Federal Court Decisions; and Pitiful Plaintiffs: Child Welfare Litigation and the Federal Courts.
